Description

This spreadsheet summarizes the briefs submitted in the 192 SCOTUS cases that EB coded as having failed to apply Chevron. In six of those cases, we could not find the briefs. For the other 186 cases, we summarized petitioner, respondent, and, where available, SG amicus briefs with respect to (a) whether they cited Chevron, and (b) whether they argued for or against deference. We also included typical quotes. We plan to put together a more detailed data description. If we are unable to update the information here, please check https://scholar.harvard.edu/hspamann for updates.
