Description

We applied a bidirectional 2-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis to explore the relationships between inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Crohn’s disease (CD), ulcerative colitis (UC), and Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP). As a result, CD had a suggestive increased risk for HSP (OR: 1.12, 95% CI: 1.00 to 1. 25, P < 0.05). We did not find a significant causal relationship between IBD(OR: 1.10, 95% CI: 0.989 to 1.23, P > 0.05), UC(OR: 1.04, 95% CI: 0. 909 to 1.19, P > 0.05) and HSP.In this database, we show all detailed information about the genetic variables.
