This cross-sectional study was applied to adolescent students of legal age (18 to 21 years old) belonging to the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, the oldest public university in the American continent. The study received approval from the Research Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Medicine of this university for its application after obtaining the informed consent of the students. The participants were selected from each of the five career blocks of said university in order to obtain a representative sample. For this, the students were recruited from the careers with the largest student population in each block, which correspond to Medicine, Biological Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Accounting and Law. A total of 316 participants were selected by random sampling in an amount proportional to their respective block, who answered the instruments between March and August 2021.
