This data is from the research article entitled “Electrical resistivity of pure copper processed by medium-powered laser powder bed fusion additive manufacturing for use in electromagnetic applications” [in press]. This article presents data from a series of tests which were taken on rectangular 3D printed specimens in order to determine the electrical resistivity of the material. Variations to the specimens include different initial build orientations and different heat treatments to determine their effects on resistivity. Resistance measurements were taken along with the physical dimensions of each specimen.
