Description

Operation Planning and Scheduling (OPS) operates at the interface between production and product development and functions as a knowledge mediator between these two. Efficiency and productivity in the design of a value chain are of great importance. If the way stakeholders interact within a value creation system changes, tasks have to be rethought. The constellation of open Co-Creation Communities (CCC) and Cross-Company Production (CCP) leads to new challenges. As a sub-discipline of Operation Planning and Scheduling (OPS), the Divison of Planning Preparation (PP) includes advising the Participants during the Development Process with regard to producibility. In the Article, the scope of PP's tasks and a fitted role model will be introduced. This PDF contains the relevant Literature used of the Task Modell.
