Description

The rise of large datasets in various aspects of sciences, including topography, have called scientists to think about different ways of handling those datasets. One potential in high-definition topographic sciences is the separation of topographic features by scales, using notably wavelet decomposition. The present dataset consists of the DEM of Miyakejima that has been collated and merged from dataset available from the Japanese Government as well as different derivatives and some of the wavelet decomposition data used in the paper published in the Journal of Volcanology and Geothermal Research.
