Description

This dataset contains the results of a tensile test (ASTM D638-03) conducted on specimens fabricated using fused deposition modeling technology. It serves as a preliminary report for the development of 3D-printed wing components for small unmanned aerial vehicles (SUAVs). Carbon-PLA filament (nylon 6/66 copolymer containing 20% carbon fiber) was adopted. There were 7 printing orientations depending on the tensile axis: 0°, 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, and 90° with three specimens for each orientation (21 specimens in total).
