Description

This dataset collects Finite Element (FE) simulations of T-joints with Circular-Hollow-Section (CHS) chords and axially loaded longitudinal passing-through plates. The FE models were validated against experimental data from tests conducted by Voth. This dataset includes a comprehensive parametric analysis that explored the behaviour of 65 different geometric configurations of these connections. Monotonic simulations were performed for each configuration. The dataset's importance lies in its foundation on FE models that have been rigorously validated with experimental results, making it a reliable resource for researchers. It supports the development of mathematical and mechanical models for predicting the monotonic response of T-joints with CHS chords and longitudinal passing-through plates.
