Cultural Awareness (Wokeness) and Ideology: Cognitive Bias and misestimation of objective knowledge of socio-cultural competence. A survey of 3331 college-level educated respondents in the United States conducted prior to Covid and demonstrations in Minnesota and elsewhere. The data suggests the Dunning Kruger Effect of cognitive over-estimation regarding knowledge competence across self-identified levels of wokeness and the spectrum of ideologies.
