This dataset consists of roe deer cull data from 2011 to 2017. Each row represents one individual adult female roe deer for which number of embryos (column "embryo"), body mass (column "weight") cull year ("Cull_Year") , forest block ("Block") and week during which it was culled are reported ("Week_bodymass" continuous variable indicating number of weeks after the start of the year the animal was culled, used when analysing body mass; "Week", coded as 0-1 to identify wether the animal was culled within the first 3 weeks since the start of the year or after, to be used for fertility analysis). A series of columns in the dataset indicate the percentage of arable land extracted from a buffer built around cull locations with buffer radii ranging from 300m to 600m (at 50m step increment). These columns are named "Arable_" plus the buffer radius. Similarly, columns indicating density of fallow deer extracted around cull locations (300-600m buffer radius at 50m steps increments) are labelled "Fw_" plus the buffer radius. Deer densities were extracted from density surface raster predictions. Columns similarly named but with cv added to the name ("Fw_cv_") plus the buffer radius indicate the average coefficient of variation associated with the deer density extracted. The same naming style to the one used to extract fallow deer densities has been used to indicate roe deer and muntjac densities where those columns referring to muntjac densities are named "Mj_" plus buffer size and those referring to roe deer densities are named "Roe_" plus buffer size.
