Steps to reproduce
Observational prospective cohort study conducted between May and July 2025. Patients aged over 18 years, hospitalised for more than 24 hours and with at least one short peripheral venous catheters (SPVC), were included. Data were collected using a standardised form, pseudo-anonymised, and coded prior to analysis. The development of phlebitis was systematically assessed using the Maddox Scale, validated for the study population. The dataset was organised in Microsoft Excel and analysed in Stata version 13, in accordance with the protocol approved by the Ethics Committee. To reproduce the dataset, researchers should collect equivalent variables using the same definitions and data structure, ensuring identical inclusion criteria and diagnostic criteria for phlebitis (Maddox Scale).
