The data presents an assessment of the quality of Gracilaria seaweed as the primary raw material for various industrial products. Gracilaria, a type of red seaweed, is the main component used in the agar business and is also employed in the domains of food and biotechnology. The data show that the primary places for sampling are Karawang, Situbondo, and Pasuruan in Java, as well as one location in Lombok, Indonesia.
