Homogenization results for the X-shaped microstructure
Description
This dataset contains homogenization results for an X-shaped periodic microstructure - see figure "Xcell.pdf". Elastic components of the cell and the plane strain conditions have been considered. Homogenization computations were performed using the finite element method and the 6-node triangular elements with an average size equal to 0.025a. Both data files contain the following columns: d1/a d2/a d3/a d4/a λf/λs C1111/λs C1112/λs C1122/λs C1212/λs C1222/λs C2222/λs The first 5 columns describe the geometry and stiffness ratio of the components of the microstructural cell (λ is for Lame constant). Please refer to the "Xcell.pdf" figure for the notation details. The remaining 6 columns are for the effective stiffness tensor components related to the λs (1 is for horizontal and 2 for vertical direction). 'Xcell_1000_samples.txt' contains results for 1000 setups of the cell. These setups were sampled randomly from 5D parameter space using the LHS sampling method. 'Xcell_2000_samples.txt' contains additionally 1000 permutations of the first 1000 results. These permutations reflect the effective stiffness of the cells rotated by 90 degrees. For example, data row 1001 is a permutation of data row 1, reflecting its 90-degree rotation.
