Description

This project contains my open-access thesis/research paper, “A Multidimensional Scaling Analysis of Statistical Index Construction Using Major Economic Indicators in the Philippines”, including the full PDF and any supplementary materials. The work explores the construction of statistical indices using multidimensional scaling and major economic indicators in the Philippines, and is publicly available for reading, citation, and reuse. The project is linked with its reserved DOI (10.17632/ygg9s4x5jm.1) for proper attribution and discoverability. This work is also available at Zenodo and SSRN: DOI10.2139/ssrn.5738643

Steps to reproduce

The thesis presents a multidimensional scaling (MDS) analysis of major economic indicators in the Philippines to construct statistical indices. All data sources are included in the uploaded dataset files. Researchers can reproduce the analysis by applying standard MDS techniques using statistical software or manual calculations, following the methodology described in the thesis chapters. All variables, calculations, and results are fully documented in the PDF.
