Description

This study examines the effects of different dietary concentrate-to-forage ratios on the growth performance, carcass traits, and meat quality of housed yaks. A total of 40 yaks from the Qinghai Plateau, aged 8 to 9 months with similar initial body weights, were randomly assigned to four dietary groups with concentrate-to-forage ratios of 80:20 (C80), 65:35 (C65), 50:50 (C50), and 35:65 (C35). Following a 15-day adaptation period, the yaks underwent a 105-day feeding trial.
