Description

The present data are associated with a research article dealing with new measurements of iron content in liquid magnesium up to 1450°C and making use of this new dataset to propose a revised Calphad modeling of the Mg-Fe system. The present dataset contains : 1. The new liquidus composition as well as previous dataset from the literature. 2. The POP file that has been used to optimize the parameters from the Calphad model using the PARROT module of the ThermoCalc software. 3. All EXP files that have been used to build the figures enclosed in the paper 4. The TDB file resulting from the final optimization.
