Description

Supplementary Fig.1 is apatite (U-Th)/He ages versus effective uranium content [eU] for the samples collected from the transects in the Qilian Shan region. There are no clear relationships with the effective Uranium(eU)and (U-Th)/He ages suggesting that the ages do not affect by (eU). Supplementary Table 1 is Thermal history model input table for simulations of low-temperature transects collected from the eastern Qilian Shan. For the geological constraints, the present surface temperature was set to 10 ± 10 °C; the geothermal gradient was in the range of 30 ± 30 °C/km. We did not impose any other temperature constraint for all modeling samples
