Description

The dataset enables the modeling of countries' sustainable development goals, targets and indicators. It includes the World Bank Open Data database, the own developed MATLAB codes for network formulation, the network files and analyzed networks are also attached.

Files

Steps to reproduce

1. Download the dataset and unpack all files to a same folder. 2. The data of countries can be found in the "Worldbank all data.xlsx" file. The MATLAB code refers to the "CountryCode". In this dataset 10 different regions were analyzed. 3. The first tool (VV_study_v1.m) calculates the interconnections among the World Bank variables and creates the network files for the further assessments. 4. The countries to be analyzed may be provided in the second tool (WB_preprocess_v1.m). Before run the tool, the "VV.xlsx" should be deleted. 5. The indirect linking of the SDGs (goals to goals and targets to targets) and formulation of the network files is done in the third tool (preprocess_mat_v2.m). 6. The network files were specifically formulated for MuxViz. Please copy the network files to the MuxViz\data\SDG_WB\ folder. Use the config files to import the networks. The following networks can be analyzed: Countries_WB_Config.txt: This multilayer network includes the relationhips between the variables of choosen countries. SDG_VV_Config.txt: The interconnections of the World Bank variables. SDG_TIV_VIT_Config.txt: The interconnections of the SDG targets based on the World Bank Open Data. SDG_GTIV_VITG_Config.txt: The interconnections of tge SDG goals based on the World Bank Open Data. SDG_TT_Config.txt: The interconnections of the SDG targets based on the study of International Council for Science. SDG_GT_TG_Config.txt: The interconnections of the SDG goals based on the study of International Council for Science.
