Description

Non alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) is a common hepatic disorder with a prevalence in Western and Asian countries of 20-30%. Obeticholic Acid (OCA), is effective in attenuating lier staetosis, inflammation and fibrosis in in vivo experimental models and later in clinical trials. Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA), is a safe and unexpensive bile acid used in the treatment of liver disorders whose mechanism of action is poorly defined. OCA and UDCA effect were evaluated in a mouse model of steatohepatitis by RNAseq analysis performed on Ion S5 Sequencer with Torrent Suite Software v6.
