Description

We have researched piezoelectric, dielectric properties and ion conductivity in near-stoichiometric LiNbO3stoich crystals (NSLN) in order to establish the conditions for the use of piezoelectric resonators based on LiNbO3 crystals in the high-temperature region (~ 300 – 850К) which implies high conductivity. NSLN crystals were grown from a congruent melt (R = Li/Nb ≈ 0.946) with 5.5 wt % K2O. We have revealed that piezo-resonance in NSLN crystals appears in a certain temperature range ΔТ and frequencies ΔR provided that V– 1  R. Note that the temperature range ΔТ corresponds to certain values of conductivity (Δσ) and relaxation time (ΔV). We have concluded that use of high-temperature piezo-resonators based on crystal NSLN is possible at certain kinetic parameters of charge transport in a temperature range ΔТ and at piezo-resonance frequencies corresponding to the temperature range. This dataset contains raw data of different research aimed at reveling of different properties of near-sroichiometric lithium niobate single crystals.
