The interaction between health locus of control (HLOC) and self-efficacy, and the influence of both on life satisfaction in persons with acquired disability in comparison to a non-disabled sample, was explored in this study. Self-efficacy is examined as a mediator between HLOC and life satisfaction, and disability as a moderator of this relationship.
