Description

China Health and Nutrition Survey (CHNS) is an open cohort international collaborative research project conducted jointly by the Carolina Population Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the National Institute of Nutrition and Health (NINH) in the United States. The primary objectives of the project are to evaluate the implementation outcomes of health, nutrition, and family planning policies and programs implemented by national and local governments, and to explore how China's socioeconomic transformation has influenced the health and nutritional status of its population.
