Description

Thermogravimetric analysis was conducted using a Netzsch Libra micro TG 209 F1 to evvaluate the fiber volume fraction in carbon fiber reinforced epoxy composites. The raw data provided is the output of the mentined aparatus. In each data file, the examination conditions were mentioned. In general following aspects were covered. - TGA of carbon fiber - TGA of RTM6 - TGA of Ebalta - TGA of all materials in solid vs. milled form, to examine the effect of sample size - TGA under various atmospheres (technical air vs. nitrogen) - TGA under dynamic vs. mass-rate controlled heating - TGA using a 2-stage heating program
