Description

This data is basically analysed from the Scopus database for the literature obtained in the discipline of occupational therapy. The data will be most useful for the beginners in the occupational therapy researcher, especially in terms of their publication.

Steps to reproduce

Data retrieval strategies: Data restricted to 2001 to 2020. TITLE-ABS-KEY function used in advance search option of the Scopus database. Keywords: “Occupational Therapy” and “Occupational Therapist” with multiple Boolean operators such as ‘AND’, and ‘OR’ to retrieve the maximum number of relevant articles. Excluded non-peer-reviewed documents such as ‘short survey’, ‘conference paper’, ‘editorial’, ‘notes’, ‘letter’ ‘book’, ‘book chapter’, ‘erratum’ and ‘retracted papers’ . Scientometric analysis: The VOSviewer®, a free software downloaded from www.vsoviewer.com, was used. Microsoft Excel 2016® was used for all the figures and scientometric calculations. Scientometric data was retrieved from Scopus using a comma-separated file (CSV) with complete information. The full details such as citation information, bibliographical information, abstract and keywords, funding details, and other pieces of information are downloaded as CSV-file to analyse the data using VOSviewer. Further identification of year-wise publication trends, top journals, authors, countries, and organisations were analysed based on the descriptive mmethods.
