Description

This file contains sample description, geochronology, geochemistry and Lu-Hf isotopes of Cenozoic granitoids from Nyingchi area of Gangdese belt, Southern Tibet. These data, combined with published geochemistry and Sr-Nd isotopes of adakites nearby our study area, shows that the first involvement of Indian continental materials with Gangdese magmatism was at ~ 27 Ma. The Sr-Nd-Hf isotopes are direct evidence of our hypothesis when plot in diagrams including MgO versus εNd(t), Age(Ma) versus εHf(t). Other geochemical data can be plot in many traditional discrimination diagrams including the Harker series, Adakite discrimination diagrams, etc.

Steps to reproduce

These data of geochemistry and isotopes are metadata from labs, which means a proper standardization for Major elements, trace elements including rare earth elements is needed. When done, related data could be plot in various and specific diagrams. The geochronological data are plot with help of ISOPLOT V3.0 and concordia diagrams, weighted mean U-Pb ages could be obtained.
