Description

This xlsx file contains the cadastre of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) installations of Chile in the year 2018 as well as the data used for the figures of the paper "Unveiling the potential for combined heat an d power in Chilean industry - A policy perspective" published in the Journal Energy Policy. The sheet "CHP_cadastre_2018" includes a list of 55 CHP installations and 19 attributes for each one of them. Most of the table is self-explanatory and the only acronyms in use are NCRES (non-conventional renewable energies), PMGD (From “Small Distributed Generation Means” in Spanish) and MGNC (from “Non-Conventional Renewable Generation Means” in Spanish) . Please consider that non-standard symbols are in use in the names of the installations and companies (these were kept in their original form in Spanish) and that decimals are separated with commas. For further details about sources, methodology and context please refer to the paper. The sheets “Evolution” ,“Policy” and “Potential” contain the underlying data of Figures 3, 4, 6 and 7 of the paper respectively. The sheet "Sector" presents the Table 1 of the paper.
