Description

This dataset refers to a research for designing hollow concrete masonry under fire situation using an adaptation of Eurocode 6's simplified calculation method. It contains Abaqus 12.3 files (.cae) of numerical models for determining the isotherms of hollow concrete block prisms under high temperatures, in addition to the result files (.odb) generating from processing these models. With the isotherms after different times of fire exposure, residual area coefficients (k) and the residual thicknesses (tfr) were then calculated for each case, through the excel file attached (.xlsx). With these parameters, it was possible to predict the residual compressive strength (Rd,fi) of structural masonry, through the calculation routine attached (.mcdx), after 30, 60, and 90 minutes of fire exposure on one and both sides.
