NAVIGATING LINGUISTIC OBSTACLES: INVESTIGATING HURDLES OF BENGALI MEDIUM STUDENTS IN LEARNING ENGLISH LANGUAGE
Description
Abstract: This study article examines the challenges faced by students who are educated in the Bengali-medium while acquiring proficiency in the English language. This research seeks to uncover the challenges encountered by instructors in learning English as a foreign language, as seen and experienced by them. Additionally, it intends to provide a general technique that may be beneficial for learners in acquiring a comprehensive understanding of English as a second language. The findings indicate that successful acquisition of English as a second language for non-native speakers necessitates effective time management, strong determination, and focused concentration. Conversely, the findings also demonstrate that the teacher's active participation and utilisation of pedagogical methods and strategies can significantly enhance the learner's understanding and proficiency in the language. Furthermore, the use of real resources is essential in order to stimulate and invigorate the waning enthusiasm of individuals, whether they be students or learners.
