Description

This dataset contains the average amount of food consumed per Adult Male Equivalent (AME) in g and monetary values per capita per day and as monetary value for 60 food categories in Bangladesh, estimated from seven rounds of the H[I]ES system (1985, 1988, 1991, 1995, 2000, 2005, and 2010). We provide estimates for each of 60 food items item and major food groups, and disaggregate results by erstwhile division, expenditure quintile, rural/urban locality, and for presence/absence of children under five years of age in the household. This dataset provides a resource for tracking changes in consumption in Bangladesh from 1985 to 2010.
