Description

We got comments regarding the repeating pattern for the Chronoamperometry measurement in Figure S20 in Joule (2017) 1(4) 794-805 (https://www.cell.com/joule/fulltext/S2542-4351(17)30088-0). We found there are pseudo-periodic patterns in our data, but no complete overlap with ~0.5 mA/cm2 difference. We discussed with BioLogic, where we purchased our potentiostat. The company mentioned that the current repetition patterns are frequently seen. BioLogic recommends avoiding using extra stuff (extension wires, connectors, etc.) in the measurement circuit to reduce instrument artifacts. This dataset for Figure S20 includes 4 columns. Column A is the measured time, while column B is the measured current. In Figure S20, the value of x axis (time) (i.e. column C) was converted from seconds to minutes using column A dividing by 60. The value of y axis (current density) (i.e. column D) was obtained using column B (current) dividing by 0.3077. 0.3077 cm2 is the area of the electrode.
