Description

The supporting information includes 1 text, 4 figure and 5 tables. In the text S1, we describe both the conditions of the experimental instruments and processing method for the detrital zircon U-Pb dating and Lu-Hf isotopic analyses. Figure S1 shows the CL (cathodoluminescence) images of the dated detrital zircon grains. Figures S2 to S3 present integrated geochronological analyses of Raggyorcaka sandstone samples, including U-Pb concordia diagrams, calculated YC1-σ(2+)/YC2-σ(3+) MDAs and detrital zircon age-frequency diagrams. Figure S4 is an integrated stratigraphic columns for late Devonian–middle Permian deposits of Riwanchaka-Raggyorcaka in southern NQB. Table S1 lists all the lithofacies and their interpretations of the continental and marine sedimentary rocks used in this study. Tables S2 to S5 contain all the raw measurements that were used in the paper to deduce the paleo-current direction, clastic provenance, zircon U-Pb ages and their Hf isotopic values. Additionally, The footnotes of Tables S2 to S3 give a detailed description of the data format such as the abbreviations, while that of Tables S4 to S5 present the relevant calculation formulas. It is noted that Table S4 shows all the raw data for the detrital zircon U-Pb dating and the filter criteria by which we determine the imperfect ones.
