Description

The proposed research will include data from two common mouse models of Friedreich Ataxia: the neurodegeneration-free FXN knock-in/knockout (Mild phenotype) and doxycycline-inducible FXN knockdown (Aggressive phenotype). The final data set will include raw data extracted from experiments such as electrophysiology recordings, two photon imaging of calcium dynamics from cell soma and mitochondria, biochemical analysis of synaptic and mitochondrial markers expression and distribution, and behavioral analyses of motor function.
