O.elegans_ecological_niche_model_dataset

Description

This dataset includes the location points used for the ecological niche modelling of Ophisops elegans. Occurrence records for O. elegans were gathered from the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF). Records were filtered to remove points with location uncertainty greater than 1 km and those outside the study rasters. To reduce sampling bias, the points were spatially thinned to 5 km using the spThin R package (Aiello‐Lammens et al. 2015), resulting in a final dataset of 433 occurrences. The pdf files shows the results of Maxent Ecological Niche Modelling of O.elegans under different gcm scenarios and Mobility Oriented Pair (MOP) results for extrapolation.
