Stratified sampling and simple random sampling procedures were the two sample methods used in the investigation. The students were categorized according to their educational settings using the stratified random sampling. These were the first-degree students whose course work included either mathematics or statistics. Second, following the process of class stratification, a simple random sample technique was employed to choose students from each class who were present in their different lecture rooms for the duration of the data collection procedure. Every member of the target population has an equal chance of being chosen through simple random sampling, which eliminates bias. The researchers collected the study data during lectures hours after obtaining explicit permission from the different lectures who were teaching at the time of the data collection. The data collection was completed in five weeks with the assistance of structured questionnaires.
