Description

Mn(II)-tagged biopolymer formulations enhanced the longitudinal relaxivity (r₁) compared with free MnCl₂ and with clinically used Gadoteridol® serving as a positive control. AD-DOTA-Mn(II) exhibited the highest relaxivity (r₁ = 21.8 mM⁻¹s⁻¹), outperforming CMD-DOTA-Mn(II) (r₁ = 12.1 mM⁻¹s⁻¹) and CH-DOTA-Mn(II) (r₁ = 10.1 mM⁻¹s⁻¹) using a 9.4 T MR scanner. In this results file, the relaxivities r1 and r2 of the lead compound, chitosan-DOTA-Mn(II) (CH-DOTA-Mn(II), are reported.Plots of relaxation rates (R1/2, [1/s]) to concentration [mM] curves for CH-DOTA-Mn(II) are shown. A steep increase of the relaxation rates R1 and R2 with r1= 10.1 mM⁻¹s⁻¹ and r2= 42.3 mM⁻¹s⁻¹, respectively for CH-DOTA-Mn(II) at 9.4 T was observed.
