Characterization of six different HPMC Standard and Direct Compression Grades K4M, K15M and K100M. Particle size distribution by sieve analysis and QICPIC dynamic image analysis, Scanning electron microscopy SEM particle morphology, bulk density by FT4, bulk density by Schott, bulk and tapped density by graduated cylinder, true density by helium pycnometer, specific surface area by BET krypton adsorption, powder flow by Carr's Index, powder flow by Erweka mass flow through an orifice, powder flow by avalanche tester, shear cell, FT4 powder rheometer.
