Description

The gastric cancer prescriptions dataset was screened and extracted from the prescription texts in the gastric cancer volume of the Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine: Tumor Volume, edited by Chen Yi. This book contains clinical treatment experience tumor prescriptions of TCM practitioners published in authoritative journals and books since 1949. According to the guidance of clinicians, we selected six types of entities: (1) the name of the prescription, e.g., "Xiao Jie San(Xiaojie Powder)"; (2) the herbal ingredients of the prescription, e.g., "Dang Gui 9 Ke (Angelica sinensis 9 grams)"; (3) syndrome, which is the generalization of the pathological attributes of a certain stage in Chinese medicine, e.g., "Yu Du Nei Zu Xing(stasis and toxicity internal obstruction type)"; (4) function, such as "Qing Re Jie Du (clearing heat and removing toxins)"; (5) symptoms manifested in the disease, such as "Mian Se Cang Bai (pallor) "; and (6) the usage and dosage, e.g., "Mei Ri Yi Ji, Shui Jian Fu (one dose per day, decocted with water)".
