Description

Brinell hardness of the AA6014 alloy after various pre-ageing (PA), natural secondary ageing (NSA), and paint bake (PB) was systematically evaluated. PA conditions cover a wide range of time and temperature. This dataset reveals the effect of PA on the NSA and PB hardening. Moreover, it shows a way for the industry to optimise their PA tactics.
