MATLAB Code for Visualization of 3D Steady Micropolar Poiseuille Flow in a Plane Channel
Description
This MATLAB script implements the exact analytical solution for three-dimensional steady micropolar Poiseuille flow between two infinite parallel plates under no-slip and no-spin boundary conditions. It generates six figures visualizing the velocity profiles, microrotation fields, and the influence of key parameters such as microrotational viscosity, microinertia coefficient, and the characteristic micropolar length scale. The code is designed for educational and research purposes, enabling verification of theoretical results and exploration of limiting cases including the Newtonian fluid limit.

Steps to reproduce
Save the provided MATLAB code into a file named micropolar_poiseuille_3d.m. Open MATLAB R2023a or later. Run the script from the command line: >> micropolar_poiseuille_3d. The script will generate six figures and save them as PNG files in the current directory: profile_velocity.png, profile_microrotation.png, velocity_components.png, microrotation_components.png, characteristic_length.png, normalized_profiles.png. Parameters (h, mu, mu_r_values, gamma_values, G_x, G_z) can be modified at the top of the script to explore different scenarios.
