Description

Our research hypothesis was that heat treatment by water-filtered infrared-A (wIRA) irradiation at 39 °C for 60 minutes would lead to increased autophagy compared to an untreated control. The following files show the treatment of PBMCs from healthy donors and ME/CFS patients. The files show the median fluorescence intensity from healthy donors and ME/CFS patients as triplicates in untreated (CTRL) and treated (wIRA) cells. Or the mean values of the triplicates of each condition to compare healthy donors with ME/CFS patients. The data show a higher level of LC3B-II in ME/CFS patients compared to healthy donors and an increase in autophagy due to treatment with wIRA.
