Description

The background of this study is that our laboratory previously developed a combination formula that exhibited a high anticoccidial index (ACI). The aim of this study is to investigate the cecal microenvironment of broiler chickens treated with the combination formula, using a combination of non-targeted metabolomics. This approach is intended to elucidate and explore the phenomenon that the ACI in the combination formula-treated group (CFI group) is higher than that in the infected control group (IC group). The animal model used in this study is the classic 22-day-old model. The significance of this study lies in the analysis of these omics data, which provides insights into why the combination formula has a good anticoccidial effect. Additionally, it offers directions for further research into the specific mechanisms of action of various metabolites.
