Present the adaptation strategies that people with spinal cord injury use to autonomously perform transfers and manage neurogenic bladder.

The data presented refer to research carried out with 17 paraplegics living in the Northern Region of the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Descriptive study, with a qualitative approach. The analysis of qualitative data was carried out with the aid of NVivo software, in light of Bardin's content analysis.
