  • Financing costs, credit and capital formation in Albania: integrated reconstruction after three tests of the i-I model
This paper analyzes the relationship between financing costs, credit and gross fixed capital formation (GFCF) in Albania in the quarterly period 2006Q4-2025Q4. The analysis uses the logarithm of gross fixed capital formation as a dependent variable, the logarithm of gross domestic product (GDP) and the consumer price index (CPI) as macroeconomic controls, spreads as indicators of the relative financing cost, and credit-to-GDP ratios as measures of financial intensity. The autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL)/unrestricted error-correction model (UECM) approach is used because the variables have mixed order of integration and the sample is limited. The results support the cost of capital channel: spreads are negatively related to investment and retain consistent interpretation in alternative specifications. The credit channel is interpreted with caution: credit-to-GDP ratios look more convincing as indicators of leverage, the denominator effect or balance sheet stress than as a pure positive funding channel. The evidence for the financial accelerator is partial because direct series on firm balance sheets, collateral and bank portfolio quality are missing. The main contribution is the reconstruction of a conditional macro-financial argument for the Albanian case, where bank-based financial structure and euroization make monetary transmission more complex than in the standard interest rate model. A sectoral extension based on INSTAT quarterly construction gross value added real growth is added as a production-side robustness check, with careful distinction between sectoral co-movement and structural causality.

  • Formal caregivers’ observations, willingness, and barriers to reporting elder abuse in Slovenia
This dataset contains cross-sectional survey data from 137 formal caregivers working with older adults in institutional and home-based care settings in Slovenia. The survey covers observed behaviors across five domains of elder abuse, perceived seriousness, willingness to report, actual reporting, reporting barriers, and selected sociodemographic and work-related characteristics. Psychological violence-related behaviors were observed most frequently, followed by neglect. Although respondents generally recognized elder abuse as serious and expressed high willingness to report it, no affirmative response was recorded for actual reporting. The data represent caregivers’ reported observations and perceptions and should not be interpreted as population prevalence estimates.
  • Vibroacoustic recordings of 15 laparoscopic surgical actions in a phantom setup
This dataset contains vibroacoustic recordings of 15 laparoscopic surgical actions acquired in a controlled phantom setup. A vibroacoustic sensor was mounted at the proximal end of a laparoscopic scissor and a bipolar grasping forceps, so that the vibrations conducted along the instrument were recorded outside the phantom, without modifying the instruments. Signals were stored in .wav format at a sampling rate of 16 kHz and a resolution of 18 bits. The actions are organized into three interaction domains: spatial motion, which includes insertion and removal through the trocar and approaching and retracting movements inside the phantom; tool actuation without material contact, which includes opening and closing of both instruments; and gestures, which include palpation and grasping of synthetic tissue, coagulation of ex-vivo porcine liver, and cutting of foam, PTFE tape and cotton thread. Each action was repeated 100 times, resulting in 1500 recorded events, all performed by a single operator under constant experimental conditions. Events were manually annotated and are provided in Sound Event Detection format, with filename, start time, end time and action label. The dataset accompanies the article Laparoscopic Surgical Actions Distinguishability Based on Proximal Vibroacoustic Sensing, where the experimental setup and the analysis are described in detail.

  • Multi-mode Fault Diagnosis Datasets of Three-phase Asynchronous Motor Under Variable Working Conditions
Three-phase asynchronous motor are fundamental components in industrial systems, and their failure can lead to significant operational downtime and economic losses. Vibration and current signals are effective indicators for monitoring motor health and diagnosing faults. However, motors in real applications often operate under variable conditions such as fluctuating speeds and loads, which complicate the fault diagnosis process. This paper presents a comprehensive dataset collected from a three-phase asynchronous motor under various fault types and severities, operating under diverse speed and load conditions. The dataset includes both single faults and mechanical-electrical compound faults, such as rotor unbalance, stator winding short circuits, bearing faults, and their combinations. Data were acquired under both steady and transitional conditions, with signals including triaxial vibration, three-phase currents, torque, and key-phase signals. This dataset supports the development and validation of robust fault diagnosis methods for electric motors under realistic operating conditions.
  • Molecular dynamics dataset: interstitial Frank dislocation loops under a supersonic solitary wave in L12 Pt3Al
LAMMPS molecular dynamics dataset accompanying the manuscript "Athermal energy release and glide of interstitial Frank loops triggered by a supersonic solitary wave in L12 Pt3Al: a molecular dynamics comparison with vacancy loops" (A.S. Kochkin, M.D. Starostenkov, K.A. Tenikov). Version 2 adds the material produced at revision. 35 runs in total: interstitial Frank loops (b = +a/3<111>, R = 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 A) in an L12 Pt3Al waveguide (1.15 million atoms, EAM) under a supersonic solitary wave train, source amplitudes A = 0.18–0.50 A, T = 0 and 300 K. Contents: LAMMPS input scripts and Windows drivers, EAM potential file, detector kinetic-energy time series (CSV), final atomic configurations (LAMMPS dumps), step-0 as-relaxed loop checks, DXA/CNA summary files (JSON), and the vacancy-vs-interstitial comparison table. Added in version 2: the {111} planar-fault energies and complete gamma-lines (CSF, SISF, SESF, APB), the reference quantities of the potential (lattice parameters, cohesive energies, formation enthalpy, elastic constants), loop formation energies against both admissible references, the extended radius series R = 10, 14 and 18 A at all five amplitudes, and three densely sampled runs at R = 16 A, A = 0.30 A (interstitial loop, vacancy loop, pristine crystal) with detector-ladder series and Lagrangian-sphere energy maps. Full structure and reproduction instructions are in README.txt and revision/README_revision.txt. The reference vacancy-loop and pristine-crystal series used for comparison belong to the related dataset doi:10.17632/d2kk8f7rk3.1 (no data of the present work are contained there).
