The dataset comprises the trace element concentration of detrital and igneous zircons from Triassic units collected from northern Chile (24°-26°S). Individual U-Pb zircon ages are reported in Espinoza et al. (2019), Espinoza et al. (2021), and Espinoza (2019).

U-Pb analyses were performed employing a Thermo iCapQc ICPMS at the Laboratorio de Estudios Isotópicos (Centro de Geociencias, UNAM) following the procedures reported by Solari et al. (2018). U and Th concentrations were calculated based on external standard zircons (NIST610, Plesovice, and 91500) as in Paton et al., (2010).
