Description

This dataset supports the study "Carbonation and Volume Stability of Artificial Steel Slag Aggregates Prepared with Polyvinyl Alcohol", which compares uncarbonated (SSA), carbonated (CSA) and PVA-assisted carbonated (PCSA) artificial steel slag aggregates with a natural limestone aggregate reference. It includes the 17-run Box–Behnken design with run-level single-particle strength responses, a Python script that reproduces the quadratic strength model, ANOVA and R² statistics together with its outputs, the numerical source data for all data-bearing figure panels and tables (oxide composition, water absorption, bulk density, crushing value, grading, raw XRD intensities, 10-day water-immersion expansion and autoclave pulverization). File contents, variable definitions, units and the scope of each record are described in Data Description.docx. Image-only content (SEM micrographs, phenolphthalein-stained sections) and the original Origin project files are not included.
