Description

This dataset contains raw data from the monitoring of the physiological parameters of sheep subjects as well as the device parameters of an artificial lung attached in VV ECMO configuration. Two devices, a nitric oxide (NO) generating device and a control device of polymenthylpentene (PMP) were attached in parallel with a double lumen cannula in the right jugular. The data collected showed that there was less clot formation in the NO generating devices as well as a prolonged device lifespan when compared to the control after performing analysis with SPSS using a mixed model analysis with a Bonferroni-corrected confidence interval with each set as the subject variable, and time as the fixed, repeated-measure variable. A p value <0.05 is regarded as significant.
