Description
This study aims to (1) identify leading countries in CAB research and their collaboration networks, (2) identify main contributors and author networks, (3) pinpoint influential articles and journals, and (4) analyze research trends through keywords co-occurrence. A bibliometric analysis of 133 publications from the Web of Science Core Collection (2014 to 2024) was conducted using the VOSviewer software.

Steps to reproduce
The retrieval strategy involved four steps:(1) Keywords: "classroom activity break*'', "brain break*", "physical activity break*", "classroom movement breaks*"; (2) Document types: limited to reviews or articles; (3) Language: English; (4) Retrieval Period: from July 15, 2024, to August 8, 2023. All data were obtained on August 8, 2024. The search formula used Boolean logic: (classroom activity break* OR physical activity break* OR brain break* OR classroom movement break*) AND (middle school* OR high school* OR secondary school* OR primary school* OR child OR children*).This initial search yielded 7,322 articles. Since the core concepts and keywords in this field were not unified, the searched literature was screened for a second time to eliminate irrelevant articles (screening criteria: limited to activities and rest conducted in the classroom), and to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the content. Ultimately, 133 documents met the inclusion criteria.
