Acute respiratory infections remain a leading cause of death among young children in low- and middle-income countries. The etiological diagnosis of these infections is challenging due to the similarity in clinical presentations and overlapping symptoms caused by various pathogens. This database provides comprehensive epidemiological, clinical, paraclinical, and biological data on 801 Moroccan children admitted to the Children's Hospital of Rabat for the management of pediatric respiratory infections. The etiology of these respiratory infections was investigated using molecular diagnostics.
