Comparison of Cervical and Ocular Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials Among Individuals with Hearing Impairment Aged 50–70 Years
Description
The data consists of c-VEMP and o-VEMP responses between two groups of individuals with mild to moderately severe degree sensorineural hearing impairment Group A: 50-60 years individuals Group B: 60.1-70 years individuals Hypotheses of the study: c-VEMP: • There will be no statistical significant difference in the latency of P13 peak of c-VEMP among individuals with hearing impairment between 50-60 and 60.1-70 years. • There will be no statistical significant difference in the latency of N23 peak of c-VEMP among individuals with hearing impairment between 50-60 and 60.1-70 years. • There will be no statistical significant difference in the amplitude of P13 peak of c-VEMP among individuals with hearing impairment between 50-60 and 60.1-70 years. • There will be no statistical significant difference in the amplitude of N23 peak on c-VEMP among individuals with hearing impairment between 50-60 and 60.1-70 years. o-VEMP: • There will be no statistical significant difference in the latency of N10 peak on o-VEMP among individuals with hearing impairment between 50-60 and 60.1-70 years. • There will be no statistical significant difference in the latency of P15 peak on o-VEMP among individuals with hearing impairment between 50-60 and 60.1-70 years. • There will be no statistical significant difference in the amplitude of N10 peak in o-VEMP among individuals with hearing impairment between 50-60 and 60.1-70 years. • There will be no statistical significant difference in the amplitude of P15 peak in o-VEMP among individuals with hearing impairment between 50-60 and 60.1-70 years. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS software and it revealed no significant difference in latency and significant difference in amplitude of c-VEMP among individuals with 50-60 and 60.1-70 years and significant difference in latency and
