Description

Extra life history data collected in “Richard, R., Lugsanay, J.A., Huang, S.-P., 2024. The temperature-size rule in the context of Dynamic Energy Budget theory. Ecological Modelling 493, 110761. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ecolmodel.2024.110761" The tab "Growth and Fecundity" contains the life history data of individuals followed under low- to moderate food supply (i.e. 0.5, 0.25, and 0.1 mgC/L/d), at 20°C. The tab "Starvation" contains observed time of death of starved 2.1 mm individuals at four temperatures (13, 17, 21, and 25°C). Other life history data used in the paper include those collected in "Richard, R., Zhang, Y.-K., Hung, K.-W., 2023. Thermal dependence of Daphnia life history reveals asymmetries between key vital rates. Journal of Thermal Biology 115, 103653. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jtherbio.2023.103653", which are also available in Mendeley Data (doi:10.17632/7txtw48hj2.2).
